Fix checklist

Issue: Players cannot join each other reliably through Steam or public room search.

• Use Steam invite first, then public room search as a fallback.
• Make sure every player is on the same build after hotfixes such as 1.0.x, 1.1.0, or 1.1.1.
• If invite opens the game but not the room, recreate the lobby and invite after the room is fully loaded.
• If public search fails, match region/network conditions by disabling VPN and restarting Steam.
• For streamers, create the room early and test with one moderator before sharing room details publicly.
• Restart Steam and confirm both players are on the same game build.
• Use Steam invite first, then test public room discovery second.
• Disable VPN or region routing if public rooms fail to refresh.
• Verify game files after any version mismatch or connection loop.
• Check Steam Community announcements before assuming a local issue.
